As a Digital Communications Strategist at Macquarie, you will play a key role in developing and delivering communications that drive the adoption of AI tools across the organization. This is a 6-month contract opportunity to join our Corporate Operations Group and contribute to a culture of digital innovation.
About the Role
Reporting to the Digital Head of Change and Communications, you will be responsible for shaping and delivering communications activities for a portfolio of internally facing Generative AI products. You will partner with Leadership and business stakeholders to develop and execute internal communications strategies, enabling the Macquarie Change and Communication network. Your tasks will include organizing and hosting AI and Digital events, preparing speakers, and developing event content in collaboration with Subject Matter Experts.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute internal communications strategies to promote AI opportunities and create high-quality, engaging content.
- Organize and host AI and Digital events, including preparing speakers and developing event content.
- Partner with Leadership and business stakeholders to understand their needs and inform measurable communication approaches.
- Create engaging communications materials and resources at pace across multiple formats and channels.
Requirements
- Degree in Communications, Journalism, Project/Change Management, or business-related discipline.
- 3-5+ years' experience developing and delivering communication plans in fast-moving agile environments with a proven track record of delivery.
- Strong customer focus and ability to proactively understand the needs of diverse stakeholder groups to inform measurable communication approaches.
- Adept at creating engaging communications materials and resources at pace across multiple formats and channels.
