Job Overview

We're seeking a talented professional to join our team as a Space Optimisation Specialist. As a key member of our merchandising team, you will play a crucial role in driving sales growth and enhancing customer shopping experiences through effective space planning and optimisation.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Analyse store-level opportunities to identify areas for improvement and develop strategies to enhance sales and profitability.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement optimisation plans and ensure seamless execution.
  • Act as a subject matter expert on our Freshest Flow tool, providing training and support to colleagues as needed.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including category development and commercial partners.
  • Provide regular reporting and insights to inform business decisions and drive continuous improvement.
Requirements:
  • A minimum of 3 years' experience in a relevant role, such as merchandising specialist or category analyst.
  • A degree in Business, Marketing, Finance, or related field, or equivalent professional experience.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and communicate findings effectively.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with colleagues and external partners.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Suite, with experience using SQL and other data analysis tools.
