About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Physiotherapist to lead and innovate clinical practice and service delivery in physiotherapy services within the emergency department and across general medical services at Box Hill Hospital.

This is a unique opportunity to continue to develop and shape the future of emergency and general medicine physiotherapy service provision through strong leadership, comprehensive staff support, and delivery of outcome-based service initiatives.

The successful candidate will have the opportunity to engage in clinical research, project engagement, and professional development, with regular supervision and leadership from Clinical Grade 4 Physiotherapists within the Aged and Complex Care stream.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will possess:

  • Recognised tertiary qualification in relevant discipline
  • Current registration with the Australian Physiotherapy Board
  • Eligibility for Membership of Professional Association
  • Relevant postgraduate qualifications or commencement thereof
  • Relevant clinical and leadership experience
  • Extensive clinical experience and/or postgraduate qualifications in the appropriate specialised field
  • Experience in supervision of staff and students
  • Experience in leadership of staff, including professional development and supervision
  • Experience in clinical education of staff and students
  • Experience in delivering innovative practice
  • Excellent team integration skills
  • Sound knowledge of community organisations and networks
