Job Title: Assistant Director Quality and Safety

This is a challenging opportunity for an experienced professional to lead quality and safety initiatives in mental health services.

The successful candidate will work closely with the Director of Quality and Safety to develop and implement policies and procedures that drive excellence in service delivery.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Collaborating with the Director of Quality and Safety to design and implement quality improvement projects;
  • Monitoring and evaluating the effectiveness of policies and procedures;
  • Providing expert advice and guidance on quality and safety matters;
  • Developing and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders;
  • Leading quality improvement projects and providing regular reports to the Director of Quality and Safety on performance metrics.

Requirements:

  • Relevant tertiary qualification in health or related field;
  • Minimum of 5 years' experience in a similar role, preferably within the mental health sector;
  • Strong knowledge of quality and safety standards and regulatory requirements in the mental health sector;
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills;
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team;
  • Strong organisational and time-management skills.
