Urban Planning Specialist

  • Assess and evaluate development and subdivision applications, scheme amendments, Structure Plans, and Local Development Plans.
  • Prepare comprehensive reports for Council and JDAP meetings.
  • Establish and maintain effective working relationships with stakeholders, including agencies, developers, and internal teams.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Sound knowledge of land use planning principles and relevant legislation.
  • Excellent organisational and customer service skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Demonstrated experience in urban planning or a related field.
