Retail Transformation Strategist

Retail Functional Leads play a pivotal role in guiding businesses through ERP transformations. In this context, we seek an experienced professional to lead retail-focused workshops, gather requirements, and shape the roadmap for our client's major ERP transformation from SAP ECC to SAP S/4HANA RISE.
This Brownfield project involves a 3-month discovery phase to build the business case, blueprint, and roadmap for migration. The ideal candidate will work closely with internal teams and offshore experts to address retail challenges, leveraging SAP CAR, POS DM, and IS-Retail expertise to guide the transition.
- Lead discovery workshops focused on retail business processes
- Define retail challenges and propose solutions within SAP IS-Retail/SAP CAR framework
- Collaborate on roadmap and phased implementation plan for S/4HANA migration
- Provide input on warehousing, purchasing, distribution, and POS integration
The successful candidate will have:
- 10-15 years' experience in retail ERP (functional/business side)
- Proven SAP IS-Retail expertise, including SAP CAR and POS DM
- Experience in S/4HANA migration projects (preferably Brownfield)
- Strong workshop facilitation and stakeholder engagement skills
- Knowledge of finance, procurement, and supply chain processes
