Support Worker Opportunity

We are seeking a compassionate and nurturing Support Worker to join our team.

The successful candidate will provide support to clients across Gold Coast, enabling them to enjoy independent living.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Accompanying clients during daily activities, running errands, and going on outings
  • Food preparation and shopping
  • Assisting in personal care and hygiene such as showering and dressing
  • Performing household tasks such as cleaning, washing, and folding clothes
  • Providing social interaction and companionship
  • Transport to appointments

The ideal candidate will possess the following skills and qualifications:

  • A Certificate 3 in Individual Support or similar qualification
  • Previous experience in aged care or disability - at least one year
  • A NDIS clearance or willingness to obtain it
  • A COVID-19 Vaccination
  • A Current Police Check or willingness to obtain it
  • A Current First Aid Certificate including CPR or willingness to obtain it
  • Own a car and relevant insurances
  • Dementia care qualification desirable
  • Proficient verbal and written communication skills
