Job Description

We're seeking a skilled Property Underwriter to manage a large portfolio of brokers, focusing on building strong relationships and providing tailored underwriting solutions for ISR property risks.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement effective risk management strategies to ensure alignment with business strategy, regulatory requirements, and risk appetite.
  • Mentor and provide technical support to less experienced underwriters to enhance their skills and knowledge.
  • Contribute to achieving insurance margin, growth, and retention targets through strategic decision-making and collaboration with stakeholders.
Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you'll need:

  • A minimum of 5 years' experience in ISR and/or Property Underwriting.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage a large portfolio of brokers and develop successful working relationships with stakeholders and team members.
  • Proven analytical skills, with a strong grasp of risk management principles and effective risk analysis.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, ensuring alignment with guidelines and protocols.
