This is an exciting opportunity to work for a global leader in door opening solutions as a Specification Writer.

About the Role

As a Specification Writer, you will be responsible for generating door hardware schedules and providing technical support to architectural representatives and customers within the commercial construction and building industry.

You will have the opportunity to develop a deep understanding of our products and apply this knowledge into developing appropriate client schedules.

  • Developing and maintaining accurate and up-to-date product information
  • Providing technical support to customers and architectural representatives
  • Monitoring customers and competitor movements within the construction and developer industry
About You

We are looking for an individual who is enthusiastic about working in a sales role or the broader business with both the local and global market leader in this industry.

  • A high level of customer service skills
  • Ability to problem solve and perform technical tasks
  • Strong computer skills and knowledge of CRM software (Salesforce or Microsoft Dynamics 365)
  • Desirable but not essential: experience with mechanical, electro-mechanical and/or Electronic Access Control (EAC), specification writing, and sales or architectural documenting
