We are seeking experienced business bankers to join our team, supporting the growth and development of Australian small businesses.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity for professionals with a passion for commercial lending and business sales to make a meaningful impact in their community. As a business banker, you will be responsible for originating and managing commercial lending solutions, asset finance, merchant services, and everyday banking products that meet the needs of our customers.

You will engage proactively with customers to understand their business and personal goals, offering insights and solutions that support their aspirations. Additionally, you will represent our organization within your local business community, building awareness of our business banking proposition and hosting educational events.

Your success as a business banker will be measured by your ability to build strong relationships with customers, drive revenue growth, and deliver exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Originate and manage commercial lending solutions up to $1.25M, along with asset finance, merchant services, and everyday banking products.
  • Engage proactively with customers to understand their business and personal needs, offering insights and solutions that support their goals.
  • Represent our organization within your local business community, building awareness of our business banking proposition and hosting educational events.
Requirements
  • Proven experience in commercial lending or B2B sales
  • Home lending experience and sound financial analysis skills
  • Strong interpersonal and stakeholder engagement abilities
  • Passion for small business customers or experience running a small business
  • FSRA Tier 2 Accreditation
  • Credit Approval Authority (CAA) Level 2 or willingness to obtain within 6 months
  • Cert IV in Banking Services or equivalent (preferred)
