Junior Payroll Specialist

We are seeking an ambitious Junior Payroll Officer to join our team. This is a newly created role that offers the opportunity to develop your skills while working with experienced professionals.
In this position, you will assist in processing weekly pays for a large number of employees. Your duties will include updating and maintaining employee records, onboarding new starters, processing terminations and leave, responding to employee queries, interpreting awards, and handling payroll inquiries.
The ideal candidate will have some experience in payroll or related fields, such as accounts or human resources. You should also have excellent communication skills, a high level of attention to detail, and a dedicated work ethic.
