Key Responsibilities
  • Develop a comprehensive project plan that incorporates timelines, required resources, and risk assessments.
  • Design and implement new network solutions to drive business efficiency.
  • Analyze and improve existing network infrastructure to optimize performance.
  • Install, configure, and support network equipment, including switches, routers, servers, WAN accelerators, DNS, DHCP, and firewalls.
  • Configure routing and switching to maximize efficiency and security.
  • Maintain ongoing monitoring, troubleshooting, and maintenance of the network.
  • Arrange scheduled updates and outage windows to minimize disruption.
  • Communicate network status to relevant stakeholders.
  • Provide feedback on technical design feasibility.
  • Design and implement test plans to verify the functionality of designs.
  • Lead a team in implementing technical solutions.
  • Offer technical support and guidance to project team members.
  • Collaborate with various teams, including design, manufacturing, construction, and maintenance, to ensure project objectives are met.
  • Maintain accurate project documentation, including progress reports, technical specifications, and change orders.
  • Foster effective communication with stakeholders, including clients, contractors, and vendors.
  • Maintain accurate timesheets.
  • Install, configure, and support operating systems, including Microsoft Server/Desktop, Linux, and Hypervisor.
  • Administer and manage Azure environments.
Requirements
  • Possess qualifications in IT or Computer Science Engineering or equivalent experience. Minimum 5 years' experience on significant projects and complex technical problem-solving.
  • Must have the legal right to work in Australia.
  • This position is open to Australian/New Zealand Citizens and permanent residents, or those with unrestricted work rights.
  • Unrestricted Work Visa holders: You may only be considered for a fixed-term period of employment that does not exceed your visa term.
  • Able to attend the Melbourne Office at least 3 days a week.
