Project Management:

  • Develop and manage project plans, including schedules, resource allocation, and timelines.

Estimating and Financial Management:

  • Gather pricing information from vendors and subcontractors to support accurate estimates.
  • Prepare bid proposals and tender submissions, working closely with clients and stakeholders.
  • Recommend cost-saving strategies through value engineering and process optimization.

Client and Stakeholder Engagement:

  • Act as the primary point of contact for clients, providing regular updates and managing client expectations.
  • Attend client meetings, project briefings, and site inspections.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, regulatory authorities, and other stakeholders.

Team Leadership and Reporting:

  • Lead and mentor project teams, ensuring all members are aligned with project goals and company values.
  • Conduct regular project meetings, track milestones, and manage deliverables.
  • Prepare and present progress reports for senior management and stakeholders.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Marine Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
  • Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of project management experience in marine construction.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in project management software and knowledge of drafting tools and construction accounting software.
  • Certifications: Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or equivalent.
  • Communication Skills: Strong written and verbal communication abilities for managing client relationships and internal reporting.
  • Problem-Solving: Analytical thinker with strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to risk mitigation.
