**Teaching Position in VET Program**
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Teacher to join our VET program. The successful applicant will be responsible for developing and improving the teaching and learning programs.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Develop, create and distribute educational content, such as notes, summaries, assignments and tests.
- Establish and maintain a safe, supportive and engaging learning environment that meets the needs of students.
- Engage with parents, colleagues and the wider community to promote healthy and productive relationships.
- Assess and report student progress, providing effective feedback to students, parents and other stakeholders.
- Participate in school-related extra-curricular activities and duties.
- Develop new and improved processes, methods and programs that align with school policies and beliefs.
- Maintain accurate records of student performance and samples of work.
- Monitor and report health and safety risks, incidents and injuries in a timely manner.
**Essential Qualities:**
- Passionate about Christian education and committed to its principles.
- Displays discretion, confidentiality, honesty and integrity in all interactions.
- Positive, self-directed, enthusiastic and highly motivated with excellent interpersonal skills.
- Demonstrates pedagogical expertise and continuously pursues professional development.
- Has excellent written and oral communication skills with ability to manage workload effectively.
- Current Working with Children Check required.
**Required Skills and Qualifications:**
The position requires a degree and applicable teaching qualifications. Relevant experience and teaching credentials must be provided, including University transcripts and NESA accreditation details.
