Job Summary

We are seeking experienced support workers to join our team in providing high-quality care and support services to individuals with complex needs.

This role involves working with participants in SIL Accommodation homes, assisting with daily living activities, and providing emotional support and companionship.

Successful candidates will possess strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

The ideal candidate will be passionate about delivering exceptional customer service and committed to fostering independence and enhancing the quality of life for our clients.

About the Role

This is a hands-on opportunity that requires flexibility and adaptability. You will be responsible for supporting participants with medication administration, home-based daily living support, and community participation.

You will also be required to maintain accurate records of participant progress and assess their ongoing needs. Additionally, you will need to have experience with restrictive practice guidelines and positive behaviour support plans.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • A Certificate III or IV in Disability, Ageing or related industries (highly regarded)
  • A current First Aid & CPR certificate
  • A current National Police Clearance
  • A current QLD Unrestricted Driver's License

In addition, we are seeking candidates with a background supporting challenging clients and who are comfortable and knowledgeable with restrictive practice guidelines and Positive Behaviour Support Plans.
