As a seasoned data professional, you will solve complex data challenges and design scalable data models to support reporting and analytics.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Strategic Data Modelling & Analysis: Develop and implement effective data models to drive business growth.
  • Cloud Migration Expertise: Assist in migrating data warehouse assets to a cloud-based platform (Databricks) for improved scalability and efficiency.
  • Business Translation: Collaborate with stakeholders to understand requirements, identify source data, and model outputs.
  • Technical Leadership: Mentor and guide less experienced engineers through peer reviews and technical coaching.
  • Platform Evolution: Contribute to the ongoing development and enhancement of our enterprise data platform.
Requirements:
  • Advanced Programming Skills: Proficient in SQL and experienced in multiple programming languages and tools (e.g., Python, R, Java) to support diverse data tasks.
  • Data Architecture Knowledge: Strong understanding of data architecture and development principles.
  • Cloud Platform Expertise: Hands-on experience with cloud platforms such as Databricks (preferred), BigQuery, Snowflake, Redshift, or relational databases (Oracle, SQL Server).
  • Scalable Data Modelling Expertise: Strong experience designing and building well-structured data models to support reporting and analytics.
  • Effective Communication Skills: Ability to articulate technical details effectively to both technical and non-technical audiences and produce clear technical documentation.
  • Modern Data Pipeline Development: Experience building and maintaining data pipelines using modern data transformation tools, with an understanding of CI/CD practices to support version control, testing, and deployment.
