Software Development Expert Wanted

Our organization is seeking a skilled Senior Software Engineer to contribute to the growth of our technical team within a prominent banking institution. As a Senior Software Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in leading cloud-based initiatives, designing and developing key applications.

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in Oracle database technologies, including PL/SQL development, as well as a commitment to integrating security practices into the development lifecycle as part of a DevSecOps culture.

You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software solutions, working on critical platforms to provide seamless services for millions of customers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and optimize PL/SQL code, database schemas, and SQL queries to support scalable and high-performance applications.
  • Develop secure, scalable RESTful APIs and cloud-based solutions using AWS services, ensuring robust integration and documentation.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate security practices into the development lifecycle and contribute to a DevSecOps culture.
  • Participate in continuous improvement, operational support, and agile processes to deliver high-quality, innovative software solutions.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you should possess:

  • At least 5 years of experience in software engineering, preferably in the banking industry.
  • Extensive experience in Oracle database technologies, including PL/SQL development.
  • Experience in designing and developing RESTful APIs.
  • Proficiency in AWS cloud services and tools for development and deployment.
  • Knowledge of DevSecOps practices and principles.
  • Excellent communication skills (written and verbal).
  • A problem-solving mindset with a focus on designing and optimizing data processing.
