Your primary focus will be on ensuring the efficient and effective delivery of our services, while maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction. You will work closely with our operations, sales, and accounts teams to generate and schedule services, manage routes, and respond to customer inquiries.
Key Responsibilities- Supervise daily service technicians and ensure they have the necessary resources to complete their tasks
- Schedule jobs, including ad-hoc and urgent service requirements, to meet customer needs
- Plan and manage routes efficiently to minimize delays and maximize productivity
- Receive and respond to customer inquiries, providing timely and effective solutions
- Conduct daily outbound telephone service call checks and audits to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction
- Produce daily operational and servicing reports to inform business decisions
- Attend and contribute to daily meetings to discuss operational issues and share best practices
- Knowledge of transport software is essential
- 2+ years of experience as an allocator or in a similar role is highly desirable
- Excellent PC skills, including Excel and Word
- Strong time management and organizational skills
