General Insurance Claims Specialist

This role is integral to the delivery of claims management services to clients and requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work flexibly in a fast-paced environment.
As a Claims Consultant, you will be responsible for handling a portfolio of general insurance claims for Local Government clients with a focus on liability claims. You will manage end-to-end processes for a mixed portfolio of primarily Public Liability, Professional Indemnity, and Property claims;
- Conduct accurate reserving, claims investigation, manage claims costs, and negotiate with various third parties.
You will build and maintain rapport with clients and foster relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including brokers, underwriters, and reinsurers.
Requirements- Good written and oral communication skills are essential for this role.
- The ability to remain calm under pressure and work flexibly when required is crucial.
- The ability to work in Australia is also necessary.
