Job Title: Sales Associate

We are seeking a sales associate to join our retail team. As a sales associate, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer service and building strong relationships with customers.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Customer Service: Provide high levels of customer satisfaction by responding promptly to customer inquiries, resolving issues efficiently, and making product recommendations.
  • Cash Handling and Transactions: Maintain accurate cash handling and EFTPOS transactions while adhering to company policies and procedures.
  • Product Knowledge: Develop and maintain in-depth knowledge of all products across various categories, including their features, benefits, and applications.
  • Store Standards and Presentation: Maintain a clean and organized store environment, assist with visual merchandising, and ensure that all displays are attractively presented.
  • Performance Metrics and Objectives: Work towards achieving individual and team performance metrics, targets, and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
  • Stock Control and Quality Management: Assist with stock control, quality management, and inventory replenishment to ensure optimal stock levels and minimize losses.
  • Compliance and Regulatory Requirements: Adhere to national legislation, Workplace Health and Safety (WHS), and security guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.
Requirements:
  • Sales Drive: Demonstrate a passion for meeting and exceeding sales targets.
  • Retail Experience: Proven ability to work within a fast-paced retail environment.
  • Presentation and Communication Skills: Possess a happy, friendly, and energetic personality, with excellent communication skills to interact effectively with customers.
  • Customer Focus: Display a desire to deliver high-quality customer service and provide a positive shopping experience.
  • Certification and Screening: Hold a valid Police Check Report if successful in the interview stage.
