About the RoleThe Lead Financial Expert role reports to the Under Treasurer and works collaboratively with other Executives across the Public Service (ACTPS) and with stakeholders inside and outside of government.
- Provides leadership and high-level advice to the government in one or more of the following business streams:
- Financial Management
- Revenue Generation
- Financial Systems Development
The successful applicant will have strong policy and numerical skills, an impressive track record of executive leadership and excellent communication skills.
Eligibility/Other RequirementsAppropriate tertiary qualifications, or experience in finance, economics, law or a related field combined with strong policy and numeracy skills are required.
Remuneration PackageThe position attracts a remuneration package ranging from $429,926 - $445,191 depending on current superannuation arrangements of the successful applicant.
Contract DetailsThe successful applicant will be engaged under a performance-based long-term contract for a period of up to five years.
Key Selection CriteriaThe successful applicant should have:
- Executive leadership skills
- Strong policy and numerical skills
- Excellent communication skills
