We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to join our Registry team as a Registry Compliance Officer. In this role, you will be responsible for administering the statutory obligations of the Law Society, maintaining records, and providing information to internal and external stakeholders.

About the Role

  • Administer the Continuing Professional Development (CPD) scheme in NSW to ensure compliance with the CPD Rules.
  • Process applications, notifications, and registrations for practitioner changes in details.
  • Assist with practising certificate renewals, including applications with CPD issues.
  • Process payments and refunds as required.
  • Provide back-up support to other staff members in the Registry.

About You

  • Previous administration experience, preferably in a legal or regulatory environment.
  • Excellent computer skills, including Microsoft Office and database applications.
  • Excellent interpersonal communication skills, both written and oral.
  • Ability to understand and apply policies and regulations.
  • Ability to manage competing demands and meet deadlines with minimal supervision.
