About the Role: As an Environmental Project Manager, you will collaborate with other Rangers and contractors to manage fire, pest, natural resources, visitors, and assets in protected areas and State forests.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Maintain a manual driver's licence and regularly travel and camp in varying conditions.
  • Establish and maintain relationships with various stakeholders, including First Nations people and community groups.
  • Plan and deliver annual work programs, including supervising and managing human resources and budget processes.
  • Communicate effectively with customers and staff, ensuring high-quality service delivery.
  • Operate and maintain plant and equipment, promoting environmental sustainability.

About the Team: You will be part of a dynamic team that works closely with the Environment, Science and Innovation department to achieve our mission of protecting and preserving the environment.

Key Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience in environmental management or a related field.
  • Strong leadership and project management skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

What We Offer:

  • A competitive salary of $80,000 - $100,000 per annum.
