The Role: An exciting opportunity is available for dynamic clinicians to join a multidisciplinary team providing comprehensive emergency services. The ED is a busy department seeing around 40000 presentations a year, with a broad case mix including high acuity trauma presentations and interhospital transfers.
The blended medical model includes experienced Senior Medical Practitioners Registrars Residents underpinned by an active culture of teaching. We have placements for GP trainees along with ACEM CICM trainees and senior doctors each have a portfolio with dedicated non-clinical time to contribute to safe high quality care enhancing the overall positive patient experience.
Key Requirements
Applicants should be registered eligible for registration as a specialist with the Medical Board of Australia and be a Fellow of the Australasian College for Emergency Medicine FACEM equivalent overseas trained specialist who has completed their training in either the UK Ireland Canada USA ABEM certified New Zealand.
The Area: Geraldton is situated in the Midwest Region of the State and is an attractive seaside community 260m North of the State's capital Perth. It's a 45 minute flight from Perth. There's some beautiful sights along the way pristine beaches national parks carpets of wildflowers.
With marina-living available on the waterfront semi-rural acreages hobby farmers new housing estates there is variety of lifestyle options to suit your needs. The area is known for its sailing kite wind wave surfing and is home to some of the best diving sights along the WA coastline.
