This is an outstanding leadership position with an established supplier to wholesale channels and associated B2B customers. A market leader for over 30 years and the most trusted provider in their category, they are seeking a world-class state sales and operational leader to optimise sales in one of their core marketplaces.

Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure that operational delivery is to planned levels in a safe and cost-effective manner
  • Staff performance, including the sales and operations team
  • Deliver planned revenue and value targets
  • Drive growth from existing and new customers by building strong and enduring key account relationships
  • Travel may be moderate

Requirements

Reporting to the CEO, you will be the leader of the state business, a key leader in the executive team, and pivotal in driving the state business agenda and sustaining top-line business performance growth year on year.

  • Sales leadership delivery into timber wholesale/building material sectors or timber manufacturing sectors over 5-10 years
  • Practiced hands-on leadership with outstanding communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Bring a growth delivery experience and mindset proven in previous roles
  • May have a degree in Commerce/MBA
  • Practiced in the use and execution of CRM systems
