Job Title: School Safety and Wellbeing Manager

As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for overseeing the student safety framework and process. This includes ensuring safer communities and child safety practices are in place.

  • Developing and implementing strategies to promote student wellbeing and safety.
  • Managing Chisholm's health and medical management frameworks and practices.
  • Leading the First Aid program and ensuring compliance with relevant codes and regulations.
  • Acting as the primary contact for WorkSafe and managing relationships with other stakeholders.
  • Conducting investigations into notifiable and significant safety events, identifying areas for improvement and developing action plans.
  • Providing regular reports to the Board, Audit & Risk Management Committee (ARMC), and Executive Leadership Group.
About You

To succeed in this role, you will need a proven track record in leadership and safety management. Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work collaboratively with a wide range of stakeholders are essential.

Qualifications and Experience Required
  • Relevant qualifications, experience and/or certifications in related business portfolio in health and safety, or a related discipline.
  • Certification under the Australian Institute of Health & Safety, or willingness to become certified.
