Patient Care Coordinator

We are seeking a highly skilled Patient Services Assistant to join our team at the Chemotherapy Day Unit in Moorabbin.
This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is passionate about delivering exceptional patient care and support services in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
Duties and Responsibilities- Provide effective provision of patient services support, including unit cleaning, equipment transfer and maintenance, patient meal delivery and transfers with use of equipment;
- Assist nursing staff as requested, including lifting patients under their direction;
The successful candidate will have excellent verbal and written communication skills, customer service skills and a proactive approach to working within a team environment.
Requirements- Certificate III Health Services Assistant (essential);
- Previous patient services or patient care attendant experience within a healthcare setting (desirable);
- Excellent understanding of patient identification procedures, ability to comprehend and follow written instructions and procedures;
- Able to undertake physical work including lifting, carrying and manual handling;
- Excellent understanding of cleaning methodologies and infection control procedures;
- Ability to work with a cohesive team or individually to complete daily tasks;
- Basic to intermediate digital literacy;
- Current Working with Children card;
- Australian working rights;
