Job Title: Senior Director of Operations

Location: Melbourne, Australia

About the Role

We are seeking a seasoned professional to fill the position of Senior Director of Operations. As the key figure in our Operations Department, you will play a pivotal role in driving company initiatives and fostering innovation.

In this dynamic role, you will oversee the APAC operations capability, performance, and financial results, building strong relationships with stakeholders and key contacts to understand and anticipate business needs and challenges.

You will partner with the Executive Team to implement operational strategies, leveraging your expertise to maximise regional growth and success.

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of successfully managing senior leaders in a fast-paced environment, with extensive knowledge of the APAC region and experience in managing divisional and regional P&L accounts, budgets, and overheads.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Drive business growth through effective leadership and strategic decision-making.
  • Develop and implement efficient procedures and workflow processes to improve productivity.
  • Collaborate with global counterparts to align business activities and enhance service delivery.
  • Lead and manage the Leadership Team to sustain capable and successful department leaders and high-performing staff teams.
  • Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) to inform business decisions.
Qualifications and Skills:
  • Education to Degree level or higher in a related field.
  • Solid understanding of the Travel Management industry and experience working with Entertainment, Corporate, and Events.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
  • Able to work effectively in a team environment and build strong relationships with stakeholders.
  • Proven ability to adapt to change and prioritise tasks in a fast-paced environment.
