Information Security Risk Manager

Ethos BeathChapman is seeking an experienced Information Security Risk Manager to join our team. This is a challenging opportunity for a professional with expertise in information security and risk management to make a significant impact in the financial services industry.
Job DescriptionThe successful candidate will have responsibility for managing comprehensive audits using department guidelines, knowledge of the business, and specialist understanding of technology and information security controls. The role involves analysing and assessing the effectiveness of management of security risks, including risks within cloud-based environments / technology ecosystems hosted with cloud providers.
The ideal candidate will have 5-8 years' experience in audit or IT risk / security management in the financial services industry, with a strong background in information security and cloud computing risks and controls. They will also have excellent communication, analytical, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills.
Key Responsibilities- Manage and execute comprehensive audits using department guidelines, knowledge of the business, and specialist understanding of technology and information security controls
- Analyse and assess the effectiveness of management of security risks, including risks within cloud-based environments / technology ecosystems hosted with cloud providers
- Proactively engage with and manage auditees to ensure full understanding of expectations of the audits
- Delivering high quality reports, which are concise, easy to read and commercial, in a timely manner
- Degree in Business, Commerce or Technology related fields; Qualified CA or CPA (or overseas equivalent); CISA, CISM, CISSP or CRISC are highly desirable
- 5-8 years' experience in audit or IT risk / security management in the financial services industry
- Good knowledge / understanding of technology, information security and cloud computing risks and controls
We offer a competitive salary package, estimated to be around $120,000 - $180,000 per annum, depending on experience.
