Perth-based Commercial Driver role seeks experienced leader with leadership capabilities to manage Airside team on shift.

We are currently seeking a Customer Delivery Leading Hand to join our dedicated Customer Delivery team in Perth, providing excellent customer service and ensuring operational schedules and safety requirements are met.

Main responsibilities include:

  • Supervising and coordinating team members in the Customer Delivery department
  • Maintaining productivity and performance criteria in designated areas of responsibility, including regular performance assessment reports;
  • Assisting supervision of catering trucks within designated work areas to ensure safe and timely aircraft loading.
  • Leading by example and performing all duties of a Driver.
  • Supervising, training, and inducting workers within designated work areas.
  • Organizing and coordinating work within designated work areas
  • Performing administrative and reporting duties as required
  • FOLLOWING UP ON DISCREPANCIES AND ENSURING ALL FLIGHT DELIVERIES ARE CORRECT

To be successful in securing this role, candidates must demonstrate leadership, decision-making, and organizational skills necessary to efficiently meet performance requirements in a changing work environment.

Requirements include:

  • Demonstrating hands-on leadership and display of leadership by example
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Must hold and maintain possession of a valid ASIC card
  • Must hold and maintain possession of a valid Australian state/territory MR or greater driver's license as well as the authority to drive airside ADA
  • Fork Lift license preferred yet not essential
  • First Aid Certificate & WHS qualifications preferred
  • Flexibility in working around flight schedules is essential (7-day operation)
  • A clean Police Record as part of mandatory checks required
