Airside Delivery Team Coordinator

Key Responsibilities:

As a Commercial Driver Team Lead at dnata catering, you will supervise and coordinate team members in the Customer Delivery department to ensure the delivery of service to all customers in line with operational schedules and safety requirements.

Key Performance Indicators:

  • Supervise and coordinate team members in the Customer Delivery department
  • Ensure productivity and performance criteria are met in the designated area of responsibility, including completion of regular performance assessment reports
  • Assist supervision of catering trucks within a designated work area to ensure they reach and load-up all aircraft safely and on schedule
  • Lead by example and perform all the duties of a Driver
  • Supervise, train, and induct workers within a designated work area
  • Organize and coordinate work within the designated work area
  • Perform administrative and reporting duties as required
  • Follow up on any discrepancies and ensure all flight deliveries are correct

Requirements:

  • Demonstrate leadership, decision-making, and organizational skills necessary to efficiently meet performance requirements in a changing work environment
  • Show leadership by example
  • Good verbal and written communication skills
  • Hold and maintain possession of a valid ASIC card
  • Hold and maintain possession of a valid Australian state/territory MR or greater driver's license as well as the authority to drive airside ADA
  • Forklift license preferred but not essential
  • First Aid Certificate and WHS qualifications preferred
  • Flexibility in working around flight schedules is essential (7-day per week operation)
  • A clean Police Record as part of mandatory checks required
