Security Consultant - Penetration Tester

We are seeking a skilled Penetration Tester to deliver high-quality security testing engagements, grow their consultancy skills and progress their technical expertise.

The ideal candidate will have at least two years of experience in client management, time management, technical security testing and report writing. They should possess a strong understanding of web application and network security, with hands-on experience in manual testing techniques and the use (and limitations) of automated scanners.

The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting security tests on customer information systems, infrastructure, software and networks, providing robust remediation advice to address security weaknesses and improve the customer's security posture.

They will also develop metrics to enable customers to make informed decisions about their environment's security posture.

  • A minimum of two years as a penetration tester/cyber practitioner with experience in client management, time management, technical security testing and report writing.
  • Working knowledge of web application and network security, with hands-on experience in manual testing techniques and the use (and limitations) of automated scanners.
  • Effective stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Knowledge of operating systems and networks, especially Linux, Windows and Active Directory.
  • Related certifications such as OSCP, CREST CCT (Applications or Infrastructure), SANS or similar.
  • Experience with cloud and container technologies like AWS, Azure or Kubernetes is a plus.
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, JavaScript or C++ is desirable.
