About the Opportunity
ACRWORLD is partnering with ACCIONA Energia to develop a strategic growth plan in Australia. As a leader in renewable energy, ACCIONA Energia is constructing the MacIntyre Wind Farm, the largest wind farm in the Southern Hemisphere. This role is an excellent opportunity for professionals to work on a high-profile project.
About the Role
The HSE Coordinator will support the HSE Manager and Site Manager in implementing site safety management plans. This position requires someone who can ensure compliance with global safety principles and empower personnel to prioritize health and safety.
Key Responsibilities
- Promote and uphold ACCIONA's Health & Safety practices.
- Advise on WHS Management Plans and review safe systems of work.
- Conduct risk workshops, inductions, site inspections, and HSE meetings.
- Ensure compliance with work practices, audits, and hazardous material management.
- Lead incident investigations and maintain HSE documentation.
- Deliver training, toolbox talks, and compliance education.
- Support emergency and crisis management activities.
- Drive WHS system improvements and collaborate within a global team.
Requirements and Qualifications
- Experience in a Health & Safety role, preferably in electrical infrastructure or high-voltage projects.
- Diploma in OHS/Environment highly regarded.
- ICAM trained with practical application experience.
- Skilled in developing and implementing safety management systems.
- Trainer/Assessor and OHS systems auditor qualifications are a plus.
- Strong knowledge of local laws, codes, and regulations.
- Excellent report writing, communication, and relationship management skills.
- Able to work autonomously and collaboratively, with a solutions-focused mindset.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Valid driver's license and willingness to travel.
Compensation and Benefits
- $80,000 - $110,000 per annum, depending on experience.
