Job Title: Systems Architect

About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Systems Architect to play a significant and strategic role in our technology operations and future development projects.

Responsibilities:
  • Work with third-party providers to rectify technical issues and ensure IT solutions meet business needs.
  • Engage with stakeholders to understand and clarify business requirements.
  • Carry out impact analysis of new projects and contribute to project assessments.
  • Develop preliminary systems architecture for projects and consider alternative solution options.
  • Contribute to business cases to support project proposals and work closely with project teams.
  • Participate in IT services vendor selection process and establish cooperative relationships between key project parties.
  • Provide professional assistance to the Operations team.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Post-secondary qualifications in an IT related discipline.
  • Significant demonstrable technical and commercial management experience.
  • Project management experience in complex projects, preferably in infrastructure.
  • Experience in specifying and architecting complex IT systems.
  • In-depth knowledge of software development lifecycle and systems engineering.
  • Excellent planning and resource management skills.
  • Strong communication skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and with others as required.
  • Demonstrated computer literacy and numeracy skills.
