Housekeeping Manager Job Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Housekeeping Manager to lead our teams in multiple locations across Australia.

  • This is a crucial role that involves managing all housekeeping operations, ensuring guest satisfaction and compliance with hotel standards.
Key Responsibilities:

Leadership Skills: Lead the team from the front, drive performance and productivity.

Roster Availability: Be available to work on a rotating roster when required.

Australian Working Rights: Possess full Australian working rights.

Grooming Standards: Have excellent grooming and standards.

Management Skills: Show strong management and organizational skills.

Staff Management: Have experience managing staff, including recruitment, development, rostering, and performance improvement.

Workplace Safety: Have a solid understanding of workplace safety policies and responsibilities.

Room Counts: Possess experience managing room counts, payroll, and daily compliance with the Hospitality Industry General Award.

Outsourcing Processes: Be familiar with outsourcing processes (highly desirable).

Required Qualifications and Experience:
  • Minimum of a Diploma-level qualification in hospitality management or related field.
  • At least two years of work experience in a similar Housekeeping Manager role, preferably within a 4 or 5-star environment.
Desirable Attributes:
  • Passionate and consistent, with excellent attention to detail.
  • Proven ability to work effectively and build relationships with internal hotel teams, such as General Manager, front office, and Maintenance.
  • Demonstrated leadership: Ability to lead staff to drive performance, quality, and productivity.
  • Knowledge and experience in maintaining the highest standards of housekeeping procedures in accordance with client expectations and industry regulations.
  • Experience in managing staff performance, including training, development, and work allocation.
  • Excellent time management skills.
Salary and Benefits:

Competitive Salary: $80,000-$90,000 per annum plus superannuation.
