Housekeeping Supervisor Role

This is a full-time on-site role for a Housekeeping Supervisor responsible for overseeing daily housekeeping operations, managing laundry services, ensuring high standards of cleanliness, and maintaining compliance with industry regulations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee daily housekeeping operations, including but not limited to cleaning rooms, hallways, and public areas.
  • Manage laundry services, ensuring timely delivery and high quality of cleaned linens.
  • Ensure high standards of cleanliness are maintained throughout the facility, adhering to health and safety guidelines.
  • Maintain compliance with industry regulations, staying up-to-date with changing standards and best practices.
  • Provide excellent customer service, handling guest requests and concerns in a professional manner.
  • Coordinate with other departments, such as maintenance and management, to ensure seamless day-to-day operations.
  • Communicate effectively with the housekeeping team, providing clear instructions and feedback to ensure successful task completion.
Requirements and Qualifications
  • Demonstrated supervisory skills and experience in housekeeping or a related field.
  • Experience managing laundry services, including equipment operation and linen supply chain management.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Relevant certifications or training in hospitality management are an asset, as are previous experiences in similar roles within the industry.
