Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Sustainability Manager to join our team at Perpetual Wealth Management. The role focuses on supporting the development, implementation and measurement of PWM's Sustainability Strategy.

About the Role:

  • Develop a sustainability strategy for PWM, covering key material issues, considering external frameworks and creating KPIs, targets and an action plan with appropriate internal governance.
  • Provide subject matter expertise on sustainability issues, engaging with stakeholders and peer companies to understand best practice and minimum requirements.
  • Develop and review policies relevant to sustainability, including Modern Slavery Statements and other areas.
  • Oversee environmental data collection, collation and reporting processes, ensuring robust metrics and external assurance if required.
  • Develop ESG narrative for PWM and work with communications managers on client and market positioning.
  • Participate in ESG working groups and provide advice/support as needed.

About You:

We're looking for someone with:

  • An experienced sustainability professional with strong background in developing strategies and managing ESG risk.
  • A minimum of 8 years' experience in Financial Services is highly regarded.
  • Familiarity with local ESG regulations and ability to keep up with emerging policies impacting corporate sustainability.
  • An advocate for sustainability, business, and ESG governance.
  • Experience advising senior stakeholders and engaging with advocacy groups.
  • Ability to research, analyse and interpret data to create reports.
  • Strong communication and written skills.

Compensation Package:

We offer a competitive salary of AU$110,000 - AU$140,000 per annum, plus additional benefits such as flexible work arrangements, access to LinkedIn learning, and professional development opportunities.
