We have a part-time opportunity available for an enthusiastic and motivated individual to join our team as a Catering Assistant. As a key member of our kitchen team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the high-quality food and services are delivered to residents.

The ideal candidate will have experience in the healthcare or aged care sector, although this is not essential. You will also possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in food preparation and sandwich-making
  • Serve breakfast, morning tea, lunch, afternoon tea, and evening meals
  • Follow all Food and Safety procedures
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization in the kitchen and dining areas and with equipment

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Experience in the healthcare or aged care sector (desired)
  • Hold a current National Police Clearance (or be willing to obtain one)
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Demonstrated ability to monitor and improve service quality, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards
