Business Control Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled Business Control Manager - Third Party Risk Specialist to join our team at ING Bank N.V. As a key member of our Retail business, you will play a critical part in creating and maintaining effective working relationships with Retail suppliers and third parties.
Key Responsibilities- Support Retail teams in the selection, procurement, and onboarding of new suppliers and third parties, ensuring compliance with Procurement requirements, processes, and policies.
- Establish and implement supplier management frameworks and processes, ensuring consistency, strong documentation, data quality, and efficiency.
- Design and complete contract audits and supplier controls, overseeing performance against contractual SLAs and obligations.
- Support Retail relationship owners in the management of contracts, including reviews and renewal activities, in collaboration with Procurement.
- Identify and assess supplier and third-party risks, working with Retail and Operations teams to help our business manage continuity risk.
- Understanding of key regulatory and compliance regimes associated with sourcing and supplier management, including CPS231, CPS234, CPS232, Modern Slavery Act, Payment Times Reporting Act, and APS222.
- Sound knowledge of retail banking systems and business processes.
- 8+ years' experience in a Retail Banking/Financial Services or related environment, with a focus on supplier risk, vendor management, or procurement.
- Strong communication skills, both written and oral, with the ability to develop and present complex information.
- Excellent work planning and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
- Advanced stakeholder management and influencing skills, with the ability to work effectively across a range of levels of senior management.
