Category Support Role

Support our Category Manager in gaining a broad understanding of categories with active involvement in product selection, category reviews and supplier training.

Key Responsibilities

  • Create and maintain category codes
  • Sourcing non-ranged products through preferred partners
  • Coordinate promotional planning and campaign execution
  • Support catalogue and marketing material development
  • Coordinate supplier reporting
  • Monitor competitor pricing for improvements
  • Participate in ad hoc project work based on Category Manager requirements

About You

We're looking for someone with:

  • A tertiary qualification in business or marketing
  • 3-5 years' experience in fast-paced buying environments
  • Strong negotiation skills
  • Administrative and organizational skills
  • Excel capability
  • Analytical skills with large data sets
  • A marketing mindset
  • A 'can-do' attitude
