Senior Mineral Processing Engineer

About the Role
This exciting opportunity is for an experienced Engineering Manager to lead our mineral processing engineering team. You will oversee engineering and design aspects of mineral processing projects, including conceptual design, feasibility studies, and detailed engineering.
As a leader, you will be responsible for technical approval and sign-off of project engineering and design. You will collaborate with clients to understand their requirements, develop project scopes, and deliver customized solutions that meet or exceed expectations.
About You
To be successful in this role, you will need a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (Mechanical, Civil, Structural, Chemical, or Electrical Engineering) and Chartered Engineer accreditation (CPEng or equivalent) or the ability to achieve it.
You will have extensive experience with discipline engineering, preferably within a mineral processing EPCM environment, with proven experience in a leadership role. You will possess strong technical expertise in heavy industrial and mineral processing principles, technologies, and equipment.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead a multidisciplinary team of engineers and designers, providing technical expertise, guidance, and mentorship to ensure project objectives are met.
- Collaborate with clients to understand their requirements and deliver customized solutions that meet or exceed expectations.
- Ensure compliance with relevant regulatory requirements, industry standards, and company policies, with a strong focus on health, safety, and environmental stewardship.
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement and knowledge sharing within the team, promoting innovation, excellence, and professional development.
