We are seeking an experienced Warehouse Operative to join our team in providing exceptional warehouse and logistics services. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering their work on time, in full, and to standard.
The Warehouse Operative will play a crucial role in maintaining a safe, clean, and productive work environment while adhering to Supply Chain processes. This position requires a high level of physical movement and manual handling of tools, materials, and equipment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide customer service to the Production Department by ensuring tools, materials, and equipment are readily available for consumption into projects.
- Operate powered industrial vehicles (forklifts, pallet jacks) in a safe manner while maintaining an operator license.
- Stow, pick, package, and handle goods in line with Supply Chain procedures for safe storage and/or transit of goods.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will require:
- A minimum of 2 years' experience in Warehousing and Logistics.
- Working experience in a computerised ERP environment.
- Dangerous Goods (DG) handling experience within a Marine Support, Engineering, Manufacturing, or Defence organisation.
- Certificate III in Warehousing, Logistics, or Supply Chain.
- Participation in High Performing Team training.
- Pronto or IFS experience.
- Basic Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word skills.
