Overview

The Warehouse Operator (Gyprock) – Cairns, QLD is a full-time position based at Cairns, QLD. Reporting to the Store Manager, you will join our Gyprock Trade Centre delivering exceptional customer service and attaining operational excellence within the warehouse.

Responsibilities
  • Champion a safety-first culture within the factory in pursuit of a zero-harm environment ensuring to Never Walk Past.
  • Provide exceptional customer service for all our customers.
  • To assist in the day-to-day activities within the warehouse.
  • Stock movements and the maintenance of stock.
  • Loading trucks with customer orders for distribution and comply with safety requirements.
  • Unloading inbound orders of stock.
  • Serving customers in the warehouse part of the store, e.g. loading customers vehicles with a forklift, or manually as required.
  • Ensuring documentation, labelling and presentation of product is adhered to.
  • Warehouse operations including picking orders, inventory counts and general housekeeping.
Qualifications
  • A forklift licence is required to perform duties within the warehouse.
