Our ski resort promises an 'office' like no other, with skiing and boarding as part of the experience. With a season pass just one of the perks of working with us, you'll enjoy a spectacular alpine environment and face-to-face contact with our guests.

As a key member of our lift operations team, you'll be responsible for safely and efficiently operating ski lifts, assisting guests with loading, unloading and safety procedures ensuring everyone gets home safely every day.

To maximise lift capacity, you'll manage guest loading during peak times so our guests spend more time on the slopes than in the line. You'll also perform manual snow removal as needed, to keep things safe and pretty.

In addition, you'll monitor Ski Data gate systems to ensure smooth access and optimal loading. And, you'll provide guests with lift pass information, as well as product knowledge so they make the most of their day.

Requirements:

  • You'll need to be available to volunteer from June school holidays until the end of the first week in September
  • Excellent communication and guest service skills are essential
  • Ability to maintain a pleasant, professional manner under pressure and during extremely busy times
  • Ability to physically work outdoors in different weather extremes and terrains, whilst still maintaining a friendly and positive disposition
  • Previous skiing and boarding experience will hold you in good stead as you ride to each lift area
