Key Responsibilities
  • Design, enhance and support technical components within software applications.
  • Implement enhancements to application features where necessary.
  • Respond to alerts raised by application monitoring, investigate and resolve issues promptly.
  • Develop and enforce incident management practices according to ITIL best standards.
  • Proactively assess processes to identify potential issues before they impact deliverables.
  • Analyse data-related issues to determine optimal resolutions for application integrity.
  • Provide comprehensive application support for all business applications and interfaces.
  • Offer technical assistance to business teams regarding general application queries affecting their functional areas.
  • Ensure seamless project handovers to guarantee smooth transitions to production support.
  • Maintain efficient database performance, replication and data backups.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Proficiency in JavaScript.
  • HTML expertise.
  • C# skills, including Model-View-Controller patterns, secure Web APIs, deployment and packaging.
  • JSON knowledge.
  • Familiarity with object-oriented programming concepts.
  • Microsoft SQL Server 2017 (or later) skills: TSQL, stored procedures/views, database schema, indexing and performance optimisation.
  • .NET Core 3.1 or later experience.
  • Version control proficiency.
  • Internet Information Services (IIS) expertise.
PREFERRED SKILLS
  • JQuery experience.
  • Microsoft Edge browser Dev Tools familiarity.
  • BootStrap skills.
  • NuGet expertise.
  • Automated testing knowledge.
  • Jira/Confluence (Atlassian suite) skills.
  • SSL certificates understanding.
  • DevOps/DevSecOps/CI-CD experience.

Australian Citizenship is mandatory. Current or reinstatable AGSVA NV1 Security clearance; NV2 preferred.
