Job Title:

Waste Management Operator

We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Waste Management Operator to join our team.

Job Description:

This role is responsible for operating the recycling shop, collecting illegal dumping, and carrying out general site and equipment maintenance.

The successful candidate will work in a fast-paced environment, managing daily operations, ensuring customer satisfaction, and contributing to the overall success of our waste management initiatives.

You will be working closely with colleagues to achieve shared goals and objectives, maintaining high standards of service delivery and promoting a safe working environment.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • Strong Customer Service Skills: Providing exceptional service to customers, resolving issues promptly and professionally.
  • Sound Knowledge and Awareness of WHS Practices: Maintaining a safe working environment, adhering to all relevant regulations and guidelines.
  • Basic Numeracy, Literacy, and Computer Skills: Accurately processing transactions, maintaining records, and utilizing software applications.
  • Excellent Verbal and Non-Verbal Communication Skills: Effective communication with colleagues, customers, and stakeholders.
  • Ability to Work Effectively in a Team Environment: Collaborating with colleagues to achieve shared goals and objectives.
