We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Direct Care Worker to join our team at Karoonda District Soldiers Memorial Hospital. As a Direct Care Worker, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional care and support to our residents in a vibrant and multidisciplinary environment.
Key Responsibilities- Work closely with the Nurse Unit Manager and collaborate with a dedicated team of health professionals to deliver high-quality care and support.
- Assist with daily living activities, such as personal care, meal preparation, and household tasks.
- Provide emotional support and companionship to residents, promoting their physical and emotional well-being.
- Participate in ongoing education and training to enhance your skills and knowledge in residential care.
- AQF Certificate III relevant to the position.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
- A supportive and inclusive work environment.
- Ongoing education and training opportunities.
