Key Responsibilities- Assist residents with daily living activities, including bathing, dressing, and grooming
- Provide support with feeding, toileting, and continence management
- Help maintain residents' mobility and dexterity through transferring and lifting
- Undertake bed making, cleaning of equipment, and distribution of clean laundry
- Contribute to resident assessment and recording of general observations
To be successful in this role, you will need to have:
- AQF Certificate III relevant to the position
- Experience working with aged, frail, or disabled persons
- Ability to work well within a team environment and communicate effectively with people from diverse backgrounds
- Commitment to maintaining resident confidentiality and displaying empathy towards the elderly
