About the Role
This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled Senior Business Analyst to join the early stages of this client's next data program wave. As a key member of the team, you'll bridge technical contexts and business needs, develop project briefs, and deliver artefacts that drive decisions. Reporting to senior leadership, you'll work independently initially, with the scope to influence and grow the team as the program evolves.

Job Responsibilities

  • Develop strong relationships with business stakeholders to gather and refine requirements.
  • Create project briefs and artefacts aligned with PRINCE2 methodology.
  • Collaborate with technical teams on data visualizations using tools like Power BI.
  • Translate technical contexts for business stakeholders and vice versa.
  • Support the evolution of the delivery lifecycle toward Agile practices.
  • Work on existing user cases and develop new solutions with data teams.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • A strong grasp of BA fundamentals, including stakeholder engagement and artefact creation.
  • Professional BA certifications are highly regarded.
  • Experience in data domains, with familiarity with Microsoft tools (Power BI, Azure Data Catalogue).
  • A proven ability to work independently and adapt quickly to new challenges.
  • Utilities sector experience is desirable but not essential.
  • Excellent communication, self-starting attitude, and relationship-building skills.
  • Familiarity with PRINCE2 and Agile methodologies.
