Job Title: Professional Truck Driver

 

The role of a professional truck driver is to operate heavy vehicles over long distances, ensuring safe and efficient transportation of goods. This position requires strong driving skills, attention to detail, and ability to work independently.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate tractor-trailer units to transport goods across the country.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant laws and regulations, including hours of service, vehicle maintenance, and safety protocols.
  • Conduct pre- and post-trip inspections of vehicles to identify any issues or defects.
  • Communicate effectively with dispatchers, customers, and other stakeholders to ensure timely delivery of goods.
  • Meet or exceed performance standards for on-time delivery, fuel efficiency, and cargo security.

Requirements:

  • A valid commercial driver's license (CDL) with an endorsement for hazardous materials.
  • At least 12 months of experience driving large trucks, preferably in a commercial setting.
  • Knowledge of traffic laws, road signs, and safe driving practices.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Physical stamina to drive for extended periods and handle physical demands of the job.
